What are I.D. IT! Plates? -The letters on the plates are made of injection molded plastic. They are chrome foil plated and triple coated to stand up to the outside elements. The letters are secured to a sturdy, 1/8th inch thick (black) plate. On the other side of the plate is the adhesive backing that you just press on to most any clean, dry, flat surface. You now have a low-cost, high-visibility and classy solution to "drive" traffic or attention to your website, company, product, service, opportunity, phone number etc.
What colors do the plates come in? - The available colors are chrome or gold. The gold plate is a very elegant "matte" finish.
How many characters can I put on my plates? - I.D. IT! Plates can be up to 22 characters, NOT including . (periods) : (colons) and // (slashes). We offer the following suggestion (not a recommendation) for website URL's: you may want to consider 'not' using the "http://" or the "www." prefixes.

What are the dimensions of the plates? - I.D. IT! Plates dimensions are as follows: A plate of 22 characters is approximately 18" in length. Less characters of course means a shorter plate. Lower case letters such as "a,c,e,n,r," are 1" in height. Lower case letters such as "b,d,f,l,t" are 1.25" in height. Most upper case letters and numbers are 1.25" in height. The tallest character is "J" at 1 and 5/8". Character widths vary.
How do I attach and remove my plates? - The plate is applied by peeling off the special strip and pressing the adhesive backing of the plate on a clean, dry, FLAT surface. This must NOT be done in direct sunlight. I.D. IT! Plates can be safely removed by visiting your local auto body repair shop. You can usually reapply your plate to another vehicle, with the aid of a hair dryer but may require two-way automotive tape available at automotive parts stores.
Are I.D. IT! Plates guaranteed? - Absolutely! If any I.D. IT! Plate is found to be defective through normal care and use, it will be replaced free of charge.
